Autonomous intelligence
Systems that understand their own condition well enough to act, correct and account for themselves.
Grace exists to help fund and accelerate research at the boundaries of artificial intelligence, advanced computing and scientific discovery.
This page describes ambition and direction. Nothing here is presented as a shipping product.
“Can an intelligent system understand its own condition well enough to repair itself safely?”
Answering that question well requires memory, governance, verification and honest uncertainty. Those same foundations are what serious research needs.
So the commercial work and the research ambition are the same programme: earn trust on problems we can measure, then extend that capability outward.
Research directions
Systems that understand their own condition well enough to act, correct and account for themselves.
Making serious computation more autonomous, more efficient and available to far more people.
Investigation with provenance kept intact and uncertainty stated rather than smoothed over.
Quantum and other emerging approaches are areas we intend to explore — not products we sell today.
We state ambition separately from evidence on purpose. What Grace can demonstrably do today is documented on the evidence page.
